"Before we started sleep training with Teal, our daughter (7 months at the time), was still reliant on contact naps and eating when she woke up in the night--which made a consistent schedule hard to establish. Teal was really thoughtful, after hearing about what our days typically looked like, in the menu of options she provided for us in terms of schedules we could use for our daughter, including different numbers of naps and an organized, appropriate nutrition plan. It was also really great that she provided a scaffolded approach to sleep training at night so that we would be comfortable with the inevitable crying; after a few nights our daughter took to it like a champ and we've never looked back! Having her on a reliable napping and sleep schedule has not only given us some time to take care of chores, odds and ends, dog walks, etc., but also enabled us to spend time together cooking dinner while our daughter snoozes. "I contacted Teal when I was exhausted and frustrated after trying multiple times to sleep train my second child on my own using the same method I had used with my first child. Teal was very responsive and professional from the start. I immediately felt hopeful speaking with someone who understood what I was going through and knew there were solutions that could help. I did not feel judged for any of the sleep crutches I had been relying on because I was so tired and she started by acknowledging all the work I had done. After keeping a sleep log Teal wrote up a very comprehensive sleep plan broken up into steps. Having the different stages helped ease my anxiety with weaning and nap and overnight sleep training all at once. Teal took into account everything I had provided, including my older son’s preschool drop off and pick up times. She included information I hadn’t thought of such as foods to support healthy sleep. I was able to utilize the sleep plan to get my son from sleeping on me throughout the night and nursing every hour to sleeping all night in his crib and eventually weaning overnight.
